Write a 1-2 page essay answering the following question. Be sure to include examples with p. # from the text.
Things are beginning to break up. Analyse why Ralph's attempts to impose order on the group appear to be failing. Pay careful attention to : - the differences between Ralph and Jack; - the different ways in which Ralph, Piggy, Jack and Simon respond to The Beast; - the significance of Jack's first kill; - the developing importance of Ralph's and Piggy's relationship.
