Because we seem to be having a little difficulty with Persuasive essays, you will get another attempt to understand this concept. Today you will be responding to a short article on cell phones from the Macomb Daily. You will write a persuasive essay which must include all of the components of this type of essay.
Persuasive Essay 25 points
Students will read the article “Phone Policy Reviewed” and write a reflection essay. The essay must include the following:

Introduction
Title of the article
Author of the article
Your position on the article

Support
You must defend your position with at least 2 reasons and support to back up your reasons.
Be sure you include at least 2 quotes from the article

Counter argument
You must include a counter argument and refute it

Conclusion
Should restate thesisShould answer the question so what, and leave your reader with some thought provoking ideas
